Its the first day of Spring and i have been given a wonderful gift. Thats right. By a series of FORTUNATE events- I dont have class till one. And even that doesnt count as a class. Its my lesson. And then I just have quartet rehersal today. My first class was cancelled a week ago and then last night my aural teacher cancelled class because she practices baha'i and its a religious holiday. So she's taking it off. And if that isnt good news enough, I dont have to go to Percussion OR applied tomorrow because i took my midterm monday. So I dont have to be up till 8. ( an hour extra sleep). I do have some work to get done. But not as much as i normally do. I plan on getting to mason around 11, and then leaving around 6ish. This beats the 8-10 I normally do. I got 9 hours of sleep, and i can go to Martins tonight for some much needed- shopping. AND the best part is, if my saxophone gets fixed I will have enough time to pick it up. ( I might even have enough time to pick it up tomorrow if it comes).

Spring Break starts friday. Im leaving for buffalo thursday night till monday morning. im taking from thursday till tuesday off from practicing. ( even though my alto is broken, i have been working on some sorprano stufff). I think after a nice long breaek I will be motivated to really get working on the piece I have to play soon. sometimes you have to take a break from the piece inorder to come back and see what you are doing wrong. Im at the point right now where I have been playing it for 6 weeks and have been not motivated to fix things.
